The Investor Group on Climate Change (IGCC) announced today the appointment of Rebecca Mikula-Wright as Chief Executive Officer. Mikula-Wright will take on the new role following the decision earlier this year by Emma Herd to step down after six years as CEO.
IGCC is a collaboration of Australian and New Zealand investors, representing over $2 trillion in assets under management, focused on the impact of climate change on investments, and the opportunities created by the net zero transition. IGCC is part of The Global Investor Coalition on Climate Change (GIC), a joint initiative of regional groups that collaborate on global carbon policy initiatives to deliver impactful climate outcomes, with other members including Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC), Ceres, and Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change (IIGCC).
IGCC Chair Stephen Dunne said:

Mikula-Wright has more than two decades of experience in climate change, sustainability, and investment banking in Hong Kong, Europe, and Australia. She has served as Executive Director of AIGCC since 2016, and will continue to lead AIGCC while taking on her new role.
