Global appliance company Electrolux announced today the launch by Electrolux North America of a new line of sustainable kitchen and laundry appliances, with sustainability-enhancing features targeting reduced water and energy use and improved health while boosting appliance performance.

Electrolux stated that the new launch represents the next step toward achieving its sustainability targets, including becoming circular and climate-neutral with zero carbon emissions in its operations by 2030.

Amie Guy, Vice President of Marketing for Electrolux North America, said:

“We are deeply committed to a more sustainable future, both in our manufacturing operations and in our consumers’ homes. Our strong consumer reviews and the interest in the appliances’ sustainability features confirm that we are all looking for ways to eat and live healthier lives while reducing our environmental impact.”

The new products include ovens featuring Electrolux’s built-in Air Sous Vide technology, using precisely controlled heat and airflow without sous vide’s use of water. The laundry lineup includes a washer with technologies designed to make clothes last longer and surpass the whitening effects of bleach without the use of harsh chemicals and a front-load electric dryer that features Electrolux’s Balanced Dry technology that saves time and energy.

Guy added:

“In addition to being energy-efficient, our new washers and dryers are specifically designed to help preserve fabrics, making them last longer. By helping consumers take better care of the clothes they already own, we are doing our part in helping people live a more sustainable lifestyle.”
