Accenture Acquires UK-Based Sustainability Consultancy Avieco
Global professional services firm Accenture announced today the acquisition of Avieco, a UK-based sustainability consultancy focused on helping businesses become more sustainable and carbon neutral.
According to Accenture, the acquisition will bolster its ESGEnvironmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria are a set of standards for a company’s operations that socially conscious investors use to screen potential investments. More measurement and analytics capabilities, addressing client’s growing needs to manage increasing regulations and emerging standards, and to understand and improve their sustainability performance.
