Energy and automation digital solutions provider Schneider Electric announced the launch of Zeigo, a suite of software solutions aimed at enabling companies to simplify and accelerate climate action.

The new ecosystem includes existing digital solutions currently offered by Schneider Electric targeted at organizations of any size, and also includes the newly launched Zeigo Activate, aimed specifically at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

According to Schneider Electric, the new solution comes as SMEs are increasingly facing pressure to decarbonize, driven by new global regulatory and compliance obligations, as well as from customers looking to address their own Scope 3 supply chain emissions.

Steve Wilhite, President of Schneider Electric’s Sustainability Business, said:

“Many barriers have kept SMEs from decarbonizing, including lack of awareness, the availability of pragmatic tools, and limited access to resources. Zeigo Activate levels the playing field for these companies by providing easy, actionable solutions.”

Zeigo Activate is aimed at enabling SMEs to track and reduce their climate impact, with features to help measure their emissions baseline, set reduction goals and develop a customized decarbonization roadmap, and access tools for climate action, including a regionally tailored solutions provider marketplace.

The Zeigo ecosystem also includes tools to connect corporates to educational resources and cleantech projects through Schneider Electric’s NEO Network – rebranded as Zeigo Network – and to purchase clean energy, through Zeigo Power (formerly Zeigo), a renewable energy platform acquired by the company last year.

Wilhite added:

“Zeigo puts the power of decarbonization into the hands of all organizations, and we’re excited to see how this ecosystem will accelerate the global net zero pursuits of all of our clients.”
