The firm said its data and software are founded on a science-based, location-specific and standards-aligned approach.
According to GIST, the company will use the funds to further expand its product integrations with partners and to develop impact data and software solutions, including in areas where its clients require the most support, such as preparations for the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and evaluating natural capital impact to meet the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) requirements.
Andre Hoffmann, Co-Founder of GIST Impact, said:
“This partnership with UBS marks a pivotal moment for GIST Impact as we set new standards for how companies and investors can integrate environmentalEnvironmental criteria consider how a company performs as a steward of nature. and socialSocial criteria examine how it manages relationships with employees, suppliers, customers, and the communities where it operates. considerations into their core business strategies. The companies added that the investment comes as new regulations and standards are setting a higher bar for measuring impact across value chains, and as investors require better impact data to develop greater transparency to help manage their portfolios.
