Energizer Launches Plastic-Free Packaging for Batteries

Energizer Holdings, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and distributors of single use batteries, announced the introduction of 100% recyclable plastic-free packaging for its portfolio of Energizer batteries.

The packaging rollout will begin in March, beginning with Walmart in stores and online, with additional North American retailers later in 2025.

According to Energizer, once all of its retailers switch to the new packaging, about 90% of the brand’s North American product portfolio will have plastic-free packaging.
