
France-based testing, inspection and certification services provider Bureau Veritas announced the acquisition of fashion and luxury sector-focused Italian sustainability consulting firm SPIN360.
Founded in 2009, Milan-based SPIN360 provides companies with strategies, data-driven tools and processes aimed at enabling them to enhance environmental and social responsibility and to support sustainable innovation.
The company’s technical advisory services cover areas including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), life cycle costing, environmental product declarations, carbon footprint, supply chain engagement and monitoring, and ESG reporting. SPIN360 serves clients across industries including fashion and luxury, tanneries, material, softline and footwear.
In a post announcing the acquisition, SPIN360 Founder and CEO Federico Brugnoli said:
“After 15 years as an independent company, continuously investing in the development of sustainability knowledge and science-based data, we felt the need to partner with a strong and global organization, to further increase our impact on the sustainable transition.”
According to Bureau Veritas, the transaction aligns with its “LEAP | 28 strategy,” launched by the firm in 2024 and aimed at accelerating growth and performance, enabling the company to deliver on value creation opportunities through the combination of SPIN360’s LCA tools and data-driven advisory services with its own certification and supply chain auditing expertise.
