Global consultancy Bain & Company announced the appointment of Harry Morrison as Head of Sustainability Practice in EMEA.
Morrison takes on the new role after more than 5 years at Bain, joining the company in 2021 as a Partner with a focus on ESG strategy, carbon transition and circularity. He joined the firm from Accenture, where he served as Managing Director, leading the UK Sustainability Strategy practice and as member of the Global Sustainability Leadership Team. He also worked at the Carbon Trust leading projects on strategy, climate policy, cleantech innovation, and the development of corporate and product-level carbon certification services.
In his new role, Morrison will lead Bain’s EMEA sustainability practice, and he will also lead the firm’s climate resilience and adaptation solution globally.
Jean-Charles van den Branden, Global Sustainability Practice Leader at Bain, said:
“The sustainability questions that companies are facing are more complex, more consequential, and more integrated into core strategy than ever before. Harry has been at the center of much of this momentum, and he brings the right qualities for what’s ahead: deep technical expertise, a profound commitment to impact, and the collaborative instincts to bring the best of Bain’s capabilities to every challenge.”
In a post announcing the appointment, Morrison said:
“Sustainability is increasingly central to how companies compete, build resilience, and create long-term value. I’m looking forward to supporting our teams and clients across EMEA and building on the work already underway to turn ambition into practical, scalable outcomes.”
