Beverly Hills, California-based multifamily and office properties-focused real estate investment firm Kennedy Wilson announced today the appointment of Alex Spilger to the newly created role of Head of ESG.

In his new position, Spilger will be responsible for guiding ESG initiatives across Kennedy Wilson’s platform, and for deepening ESG integration across the company’s investment process and asset management activities, while expanding Kennedy Wilson’s coordinated global program.

Prior to joining Kennedy Wilson, Spilger worked for nearly 8 years at leading global real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, most recently serving as Senior Vice President / Director of Sustainability, overseeing the company’s sustainability practice, helping occupier and investor clients develop and refine ESG programs and achieve their ESG goals and commitments across a wide range of commercial real estate portfolios.
