Global active asset manager Janus Henderson Investors announced today a significant expansion of its ESG Investment team, with six new appointements, including Dan Raghoonundon as ESG Research Lead, as well as Charles Devereux as ESG Research Analyst, Olivia Jones as Junior ESG Research Analyst, Jesse Verheijen as ESG Data Analyst, Bhaskar Sastry as ESG Content Manager and Blake Bennett as Governance and Stewardship Analyst.

According to the company, the new hires are aimed at driving the integration of ESG practices across the firm’s business and strategies, and add to a series of recent internal moves to grow the team.

Raghoonundon previously worked at Janus Henderson as a portfolio manager in Emerging Markets Equities, and rejoins the firm following a three-year PhD in Finance at the Rotterdam School of Management. In his new position, he will be responsible for leading efforts to establish a hub of specialist technical expertise on ESG investment research at the firm, which will contribute to portfolios across Equities, Fixed Income and Multi-Asset.
