M&G has set climate targets including goals to reduce carbon emissions from operations to net zero by 2030, as well as to achieve net zero across its internal and external investment portfolios by 2050. The real estate group has set a target to acquire green certification for half of its global real estate portfolio by 2025, and the firm has revealed that it has reached 80% of this goal.

Jockers joins M&G from London-based property manager The Howard de Walden Estate where she served as Head of Sustainability. She also worked at real estate-focused professional services firm JLL, including as Global Sustainability Communications, Reporting, and Research Project Lead, supporting a wide range of real estate clients with their sustainability agendas.
