Northern Europe-based asset manager Nordea Asset Management (NAM) announced the appointment of Kasper From Larsen and Rachel Reutter as Portfolio Managers for its Sustainable Thematic Team.

Nordea’s Sustainable Thematic Team manages more than €18 billion across a series of climate and impact strategies, ranging from climate solutions and transition portfolios to traditional wide-ranging impact strategies. With the new additions, the team includes 15 Investment professionals including eight portfolio managers across Copenhagen, London and Singapore.

From Larsen joins Nordea after more than 11 years at Danske Bank Asset Management, most recently serving as Senior Portfolio Manager, with specific sector responsibilities in areas including energy, utility, infrastructure, and materials. In his new role, he will support Nordea’s existing and potential new climate investment strategies.

Reutter joins the firm after serving for more than 13 years at J O Hambro Capital Management, most recently as a lead Portfolio Manager, for the JOHCM UK Opportunities Fund, a concentrated equity portfolio with well-developed ESG integration and a detailed process of corporate engagement. In her new role, Reutter will focus on Nordea’s impact strategies, including the Nordea 1 – Global Impact Fund.

The new Portfolio Managers will report to Thomas Sørensen and Henning Padberg, co-heads of Nordea’s Sustainable Thematic Team
