Sustainable transition-focused asset manager Impax announced today the appointment of Nana Li for the newly created role of Head of Sustainability & ESG, Asia Pacific. Based in Hong Kong, Li will be responsible for leading the firm’s sustainability, stewardship, advocacy, and engagement activities in the region.

Lisa Beauvilain, Head of Sustainability & ESG at Impax, said:

Li joins the firm from the Asian Corporate Governance Association (ACGA), most recently serving as Research and Project Director, China, responsible for researching corporate governance topics and conducting business developments in China, and co-authoring several publications. She also chaired AGCA’s China Working Group, leading a group of investors with AUM of over US$25 trillion on issues related to the Chinese market.
