French asset management company RGREEN INVEST announced the final closing of its green infrastructure fund, INFRAGREEN IV, raising €670 million, significantly ahead of the initial €500 million target. Citing positive market dynamics, RGREEN stated that it is preparing to launch INFRAGREEN V.

Launched in December 2019, INFRAGREEN IV invests in infrastructure projects linked to the energy and climate transition, including both greenfield and brownfield projects. RGREEN has already invested, committed or implemented more than €400 million from the fund in projects across Europe, and expects an additional 25% to be committed this year.

INFRAGREEN V, anticipated to launch in Spring 2022, will be an impact fund focused on pursuing and accelerating adaptation to climate change by further diversifying the technologies and energies deployed across the European continent.

Nicolas Rochon, Founder, and CEO of RGREEN INVEST, said:

“We would like to thank our long-standing partners for their support and welcome the arrival of new French and foreign investors who have placed their trust in us despite the obstacles caused by the public health and economic context.”
