Global investment firm Invesco announced today the appointment of Maximilian Kufer as Head of ESG – Private Markets. In his new role, Kufer will be responsible for the strategy and integration of ESG into the firm’s real assets and private alternative strategies globally. Kufer will also lead Invesco real estate’s Global ESG+R Committee.

Kufer joins Invesco from AXA Investment Managers – Alts, where served as Global Sustainability Manager, Real Assets, responsible for the management of the ESG strategy across for Real Assets globally, including Real Estate, CRE Debt, Infrastructure Equity/Debt. Kufer sits on the GRESB Benchmark Committee, ULI Sustainability Council as well as the GRI ESG & Impact Investment committee.
