Global technology, engineering and industrial software company Emerson announced that Mike Train will step down as President to take on the newly created position of Chief Sustainability Officer. Emerson Chief Executive Officer Lal Karsanbhai will take on the role of President.
In his new role, Train will be responsible for leading Emerson’s environmentalEnvironmental criteria consider how a company performs as a steward of nature. sustainability strategy, focusing on advancing technologies and advocacy to enhance company operations and enable customer improvements through Emerson’s solutions and partnerships.
Karsanbhai said:

Train has been with Emerson for 30 years, and has held a variety of senior roles at the company, including President – Japan and Korea, President – Automation Solutions, and President of Global Sales, Automation Solutions. He was named President of Emerson in 2018.
