Sustainability-focused energy and automation digital solutions provider Schneider Electric announced today the acquisition of electric vehicle (EV) charging solution provider EV Connect.
Founded in 2010, EV Connect offers an open charging platform that simplifies the set-up, management, and optimization of charging stations with customer service from installation to driver support. The company assesses and recommends the best solution for its customers’ sites, facilitates the installation of charging stations, and offers management services to ensure customers’ networks have optimal performance and a positive experience for their drivers.

According to EV Connect, the acquisition will enable the company to accelerate its growth, support its customers and empower energy companies by enhancing EV charging infrastructure. Jordan Ramer, CEO, and Founder of the company, along with its current management team, will continue to lead EV Connect’s operations as a distinct subsidiary.
